Views and location. All was good.
Great bed, lovely bar. The staff was friendly and this was perfect for our stay in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
-
Our favourite hotel in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, staff was efficient. We liked the magnificent view. A healthy breakfast was served there.
-
inattentive staff
-
Close to the bus station, city center, old town and bars, nice room, very good breakfast.
-
Very close to a bus station, Staff helpful.
Staff don't speak english very well. My room was very cold at night and no heating.
-
The view of the busy harbour, and the proximity to the old part of the city
Very noisy in front rooms because of the adjacent motorway. Most of the staff were friendly, except one receptionist who was almost hostile. That was a great pity.

We moved out after 2 nights, very noisy and very far from the beach (10 minutes by bus). Only go there if you are on business.

Location for the theatre
Question it should be 4 star

The staff were very poor, no greeting upon arrival. We were given a key card without our room no. We had to memorise it. Our bath was blocked. We had to swap rooms. There was no wi-fi in either room. We had to endure a 15 min conversation with a technician which proved pointless. We had to go to and from reception for wi-fi code, new room key etc. There was no room service menu in either room. When it was finally brought to us we had to order there and then which felt pressured. We ordered 2 simple cups of tea. They were taken to the wrong room. When they finally got to our room after half an hour they were cold with soggy biscuits. All in all a total farce. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Fawlty towers would be an improvement. Angry!

I found the approach to the hotel very drab, which did not set off a very good first impression. We ended up checking out after 2 days (booked 5) as the area was not great for a holiday at all and I found the hotel very dark and is more suited to business travelers.

Location, parking
We booked room on lower floor, got one on11th, changed to 4th floor fortunately as 2 of 3 elevators were out order. Wifi did not work. Room was ok. No food available in bar before 20.00 hours not even snacks. No atmospher

Location of the hotel. Parking lot gratis.
The rooms which are not renovated are worth 1 star and not 4. The room we were given was dirty (bedsheets, floor), A/C had a leak. We booked seaview but we didn´t get it. We mentioned this at the reception and they changed us to the renovated rooms which are not 4star either but it was OK and they were clean. The personal is very nice and helpful. We would probably book again because of the location (it took us less than 20 min to get to the airport).

The buffet breakfast was very poor, and the "hot" food was nearly cold this hotel does not warrant the 4star more like 2star. Would not return to this hotel, they seem to cater more for the buisness side of things. Overall it was not value for money. As we like to try out different 4star hotels, we have not found one yet that can beat the Hotel Reina Isabel for comfort, variety of food and free wifi, we would deffinately go back there on our next visit.

This was an exceptional hotel. The staff was tremendous from management all the way down to the cleaning folks. They changed the sheets and towels every day. Anything that we asked for , they responded positively. messages to the room were instantaneous. The pool on the roof along with the views was great. The breakfast had everything that you would want from fresh fruit to a full English breakfast. The bar was nice. Very convenient location. You can go right out the door and walk to the jogging and biking trail along the shore. You are very close to the main shopping street and plenty of bars and restaurants to relax in. Perfect stay. Thank you.

The fact that we had to vacate the room by 12 noon even though our flight was not until the evening. More important to this was the fact that there were not tea/coffee making facilities in the room - my real disappointment. Would also have liked to have had some body moisturiser/shampoo/conditioner unfortunately only soap in a dispenser.
